Service Manager
Position Description: The Service Manager position will be responsible for the management of maintenance personnel within assigned branch or branches. Responsibilities: Specifically the Service Manager will be held accountable for the following at each Ryder shop: Manage the Preventive Maintenance Process Inventory management Safety and EPA compliance Customer/driver interaction and service Facility maintenance including all shop tools and equipment Review, analyze and track maintenance measures Create action plans for continuous improvement Ensure Shop Management System (SMS) is maintained Ensure maintenance of all files required to meet and/or exceed government requirements. Quality assurance of work performed/deliverables Financial forecasting and cost control related to maintenance Manage running costs and maintenance overheads Ensuring and maintaining customer satisfaction Ensure a safe and productive operation through proper implementation and administration of company policies and procedures.
