Hobdy, Dye, and Read, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified individual for the Service Manager positions at its Scottsville, KY branch location.
Hobdy, Dye, and Read, Inc. is an agricultural equipment dealer selling and servicing New Holland and Kubota tractors, as well as a complete line of agricultural equipment.

Qualifications:
*Previous experience as service manager desired, but not required.
*Must be able to multi-task - be a problem solver.
*Excellent time management skills.
*Excellent customer service, must have empathy towards customers and their problems.

*Ensure that quality service is the priority within the department.
*Must be able to submit references upon request.

Job Details Responsibilities:
*Promote and expand our business by soliciting labor sales, advising customers on maintenance practices, and   setting expectations by scheduling incoming work and add capacity through growth in demand.
*Respond to incoming requests for service and gather data necessary to estimate repairs.
*Work with technicians to develop estimate and assign technician(s) to each work order.
*Prepare estimates and communicate with customers to get approval for work to be performed.
*Coordinate with parts department to identify timing, delivery, and return of necessary parts.
*Monitor progress of each work order to maintain schedule, and develop recovery plan to achieve promised completion date when time exceeds estimate.
*Review completed work submitted by technician prior to invoicing each work order.
*Promptly close and invoice completed work orders.
*Prepare all warranty claims to be submitted to warranty clerk.
*Manage all new equipment received as well as all trade-in equipment and used equipment on the lot.
*Directly supervise all shop personnel, documenting and tracking all technicians time.
*Schedule all deliveries to customers, and schedule all deliveries between five branch locations.
*Resolve customer complaints with equipment and work performed.
*Prepare all insurance estimates.
*Track and document all dealer to dealer store to store transfers of equipment.
*Manage all building and grounds maintenance.
*perform all other duties as assigned.
