Service Manager, Service Transition

Leading Infrastructure Services Company now requires an experienced Lead Service Manager / Service Transition Manager to be responsible for managing large service transition activities for complex managed ICT service solutions.

The Service Transition Manager will plan, build and deliver transitional projects and programmes in line with recognised best practice methodology: Managing risk, governance, quality assurance, issue resolution, reporting and timelines.

The ideal Service Manager will:

- Produce and publish detailed service transition programme plans and project plans to manage interdependencies internally and with 3rd party suppliers
- Proactively manage all issues and risks associated with the service transition
- Own the transition budget and manage all expenditure associated with service transition, ensuring that all costs are recorded against products and services delivered and that the expenditure runs within budget agreed within the commercial model.
- Manage the interface with 3rd party suppliers involved in the service transition: contractual agreement, planning, timelines, SLA, quality of deliverables
