Our client, conveniently located in the Buffalo Grove area, is currently looking for a Service Specialist to join their team. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with a fast-growing, dynamic company. The Service Specialist will manage the day-to-day needs of an assigned client base, including responding to research requests and resolving client issues in a timely manner. Service Specialist will be required to maintain a solid understanding of clients and their businesses as well as how the assigned product line meets their unique needs. This is the perfect role for a motivated candidate interested in learning and developing Account Management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares client orders and completes day-to-day operational tasks accurately and within the required service level.
- Resolves client requests in a timely manner. Is resourceful and creative when handling unique or complex issues. Analyzes issues to determine root cause and involves additional team members when necessary.
- Acts as a liaison between client and internal departments to resolve issues. Understands when an issue requires a sense of urgency or the need to escalate.
- Educates clients on use of reports and products and responds to a variety of questions relating to processes and delivery of products.
- Identifies problem trends and makes recommendations for eliminating problem sources.
- Identifies and makes suggestions for process improvements. Develops processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills
- Independent, resourceful and organized
- Outgoing and ambitious personality
