Description: - SERVICE SUPERVISOR - Grafton, WV (1122327) Job Description SERVICE SUPERVISOR - Grafton, WV ( Job Number: 1122327) Role Synopsis Baker Hughes, located in Grafton, WV, is currently seeking an Operations Supervisor to work on a flexible schedule. The Operations Supervisor will be coordinating and supervising Baker personnel and customers to collect Pre-Frac and Post-Frac fluid samples with which they will perform field analysis and prepare the samples to be sent to the lab. The Technician will be responsible for timely and accurate reporting of this collected data. This will be a self-driven position that requires an extensive amount of travel in between well sites (about 4000-5000 miles a month.) The candidate will need to have very good computer skills, especially EXCEL, working to track and process this data. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities * ensure full awareness of and compliance with the requirements of all relevant Company/ Customer HSE procedures and emergency procedures * actively ensure that his/her own health and safety and the health and safety of all fellow workers or other workers are preserved at all times * to carry out Sales, Operational and Marketing of all Onshore / Offshore activities of the base * to assist and carry out as required, all bidding for theses projects using other personnel as required to generate sales and operational information on a continual basis, including sales and operation reports. Supervise and maintain this information to give a continual forecast to revenue and workloads for the base * prepare a sales and operations plan detailing proposed client visits, frequency, purpose etc. To be updated monthly * maintain daily sales and operations contact with clients. Deal with any sales queries and pass on any operational information to the Sales Operation Indonesia * monitors personnel availability and suitability for jobs and selects suitable crews. Co-ordinates personnel travel for offshore and inter-base as required * liaise with clients to ensure offshore staff the have correct client induction/permit users certification and that there is a sufficient pool of such trained staff to cover all operational requirements * monitors and updates personnel tracking for Tubular Services operational employees within Indonesia * liaise with US Land Operations regarding Personnel Requirements * monitor training needs for offshore staff within Tubular Services, and schedule the staff to attend the classes as and when available or required. Co-ordinate with the training co-ordinator to select suitable times for the ad-hoc courses * liaise with clients to ensure we are supplying the correct equipment / personnel Basic Qualifications must be able to travel between the well sites in company vehicle must be self-motivated to make sure your job is being done on a daily basis must be able to travel to Texas for training (no more than 2 weeks at a time) Desired/Preferred Qualifications need to have good computer skills mainly EXCEL to process and track the samples Other Details none Company Overview Baker Hughes serves the worldwide oil and natural gas industry with reservoir consulting and products and services for drilling, formation evaluation, completion and production.
