The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing mail-inserting systems for major customers, including diagnostics and repair of equipment, as required. The position requires a commitment to flexibility, work rotating shifts, overtime and standby.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing, servicing and maintaining Pitney Bowes' Production Mail products at customer's premises within specified guidelines and to customer's satisfaction.
- Accurately reporting all activities and time using standard methodology to ensure accurate customer billings and internal records.
- Presenting a professional image in all interactions with customer and other departments.
- Meeting and exceeding all standards required by Pitney Bowes such as, first time fix and parts inventory management;
- Providing timely and courteous customer service to reduce customer service issues.
- Post secondary education in a related field
- Technical competence with specialization in electronics or hardware/software;
- Previous experience in a Production Mail mechanical maintenance environment would be an asset.
- Excellent electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Candidates should be A+ certified or working toward A+ certification as it is a requirement of the position.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and retain knowledge quickly.
- Good track record of performance in technical service and customer relations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid drivers license.
