Service Technician
SERVICE TECHNICIAN, Washington – GLOBAL CASH ACCESS, INC. has immediate openings for a highly qualified Service Technician in the Olympia and Marysville areas. This position is responsible for providing casinos with customer service on ticket redemption machines. Troubleshoot kiosks, ATM functions and bill breaking functions.

Requirements
- Provide customer service.
- Onsite service to customer’s equipment.
- Travel to customer sites nationwide as needed for service.
- Analyze kiosk files.
- Troubleshoot equipment and resolve issues.
- Complete proper paperwork to account for parts moved or used.
- Productivity: Must efficiently and effectively schedule and perform assigned tasks or projects with very little room for error in a timely manner. Must complete assigned projects accurately and on time.
- Quality: Consistently perform to standards of accuracy, thoroughness and timelines. Must ensure all equipment essential for a project is procured, tested, installed, configured and operable. Must efficiently and effectively schedule and perform assigned tasks with very little room for error.
- Interaction: Exhibit a positive manner toward the job and work well with vendors, customers, employees, co-workers and management.
- Accountability: Self-accountable and accepts consequences of his/her actions. Fully versed and prepared to demonstrate functionality of Western Money products and services. Must maintain the highest degree of discretion as it relates to department and company information, regardless if specifically denoted confidential.
- Customer Service: Respond to cell phone call within 1 (one) hour. Respond to property within 1-4 hours unless traveling. Ensures internal and external customer satisfaction. Conducts themselves in a manner that is professional and courteous.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years vocational training or 1-2 years relevant experience.
- Technical certification a plus.
- Casino/gaming experience a plus.
- Knowledge of equipment manufacturer’s specifications a plus.
- Must be proficient in problem solving techniques and time management skills with strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills, well organized, ability to prioritize and meet assigned deadlines.
- Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to understand technical issues.
- Ability to install, train and repair equipment.
- Track the progress of vendor and customer inquiries, and work through issues to resolution.
- Positive, respectful and professional attitude toward customers, employees, vendors and management.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Technical training preferred.
