SERVICE TECHNICIAN / CUSTOMER SUPPORT The Dometic Group is an International Company with operations and manufacturing facilities throughout Europe, USA, Asia and Australia. We manufacture / supply a diverse range of products for various mobile leisure markets from caravans, RVs and boats to passenger cars and 4WDs at both OE and retail levels. Premium brands include Dometic and WAECO and our product range covers numerous categories from refrigeration and air-conditioning to diesel gas heaters, awnings, windows and more. The above position has become available, based at our Brendale, Queensland branch. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting local RV/Caravan Manufacturers and Dealers as a first point of contact for warranty and/or installation guidance regarding Dometic products. The position consists of a combination of Service Department administrative work including taking telephone and email enquiries, hands on servicing work, troubleshooting and repairs to returned products, and direct liaison and follow up with Manufacturers and Dealers. Site visits to key customer premises is integral to the role. It is envisaged that the successful applicant will come from a technical trade calling and have good diagnostic and reasoning ability. Licences such as Gas-fitting/Restricted Electrical/Refrigeration will be highly regarded. Product specific training will be provided to cover the wide range of products falling within the scope of this role. Taking total responsibility for handling customer requirements to preserve established support levels will be a very important aspect of the position. Therefore, in addition to basic technical/trade requirements, the successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a proven track record in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
