Established in 1986, our client is a leading supplier of crushing, screening and recycling equipment solutions. They are now looking to recruit a motivated Service Technician / Service Engineer to join their team.

As a Service Technician / Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs at client sites throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe.
This varied role will comprise troubleshooting, adjusting, overhauling, training and servicing our client’s product lines as well as other heavy equipment for customers. Delivering outstanding service to customers, you will co-ordinate client service requirements including organising approved parts, materials and consumables for repairs.
Your key duties will include:
- keeping customers advised of the progress of intended work
- diagnosing equipment using computerised and other testing equipment
- testing repaired equipment
- reviewing warranty issues to identify and report back areas for improvement
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- service engineering experience, gained within a mechanical or heavy engineering environment
- an apprenticeship in an engineering discipline
- a full driving license with access to your own transport
As a Service Technician / Service Engineer, you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You must also have a strong technical background.
