Service Technician (Toronto) Job in Toronto/Gta N8M1Y6, Ontario Canada
Position Summary:
This position will require the incumbent to complete all CCTV related service calls, as well as ensuring client's closed Circuit Television systems are maintained in accordance with ADT standards. The CCTV technician is also mandated to provide support to other Service technicians where possible, on a full time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing and delivering any documentation regarding CCTV equipment. (Site Audits, PM work etc.)
- Providing weekly packages of service reports, timesheets, and parts used or picked up
- Maintaining all necessary service technical manuals, procedures and documentation
- Assisting dispatch with scheduling of CCTV related calls
- Heavy lifting, working in high places, working outdoors (be it hot or cold)
- Any other Responsibilities related to the role
Education:
- Electronic Technician or Technologist certificate or equivalent post-secondary certificate
Experience:
- CCTV installation and service experience is preferred but not necessary
- Access control installation and service experience is preferred but not necessary
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with familiarity of various Microsoft products.
- Computer and Networking experience is an asset
- Familiar with proper safety procedures when working aloft
- Excellent customer service skills and relations
