Responsible for ensuring successful planning, development, testing, implementations transition of the Technical IT solutions into production. Manages resources assigned to deployment and or release teams and are able to guide, control and make decisions about changes and or activities during transition the production environment. Manage the deployment activities and preparations changes for applications and infrastructure; coordinate the release content which includes managing the scope of each packaged release; manage delivery of the packaged release and communications to the deploy teams performing the actual work of putting the changes into production. Identifies critical missing elements needed for upcoming releases. Negotiates with stakeholder organizations for timely completion of needed work. Facilitates communication of critical information. Tracks progress toward resolution of ongoing issues.
Leads project/release teams in the initiation, planning, execution, and control of releases of system changes. Manages release scope, time, cost, quality, integration and communications. Directs team for the execution of actual release in production systems.
Leads the development and execution of release process training, mentoring and instruction strategies, materials and assignments.
Identifies project/release risks and issues. Leads project team members in creating robust risk mitigation plan. This family focuses on an integrated framework for delivering and managing IT Services. Accountable for day-to-day management and activities of the IT Service Management processes and teams. IT Service Management processes are Configuration Asset Management, Change Management, Release Deployment Management, Incident Management and Problem Management.

Release Management of Infrastructure quarterly release content, scope management, delivery management and communications. Responsible for the success of meeting release requirements and exit criteria for each component of the release.

Required:
Project delivery experience in IT projects
Demonstrated technical aptitude in either: Development, Configuration, Operations, Engineering (Systems, Application, Networking), Database Administration, System Administration or IT Security
Has demonstrated experience in release and deployment process areas
Experience in IT organizational management, and deployment to production processes
Ability to work on many tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment
Problem-solving skills with an emphasis on resolution of complex technical problems
Management, supervisory or technical team leader experience
Required:
Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
8+ years High-tech industry, application engineering and/or IT work experience
Preferred:
8+ years Specific Systems Development Lifecycle experience within the area of development delivery
3+ years Project management, supervisory or technical team leader experience
