We have a position for a ServiceNow Consultant ( ITIL / ITSM / Change Asset management ) in Atlanta, GA

IMMEDIATE START ( 04/02/2012 or sooner )

DURATION - 2 - 4 months Contract ( Extension depending on client )

The job description is as follows

-- Provide ServiceNow support/development for ServiceNow based applications - ITSM Suite, Custom Applications

Essential Functions

-- Maintenance of ServiceNow based ITSM Suite and custom applications.
-- This includes the Helpdesk, Service Level Management, Asset Management, and Change Management, custom applications based on ServiceNow as well as integrations with external applications (Web services, APIs) Should be able to customize workflows supporting above modules/processes To assist existing users with customizing categories, tweaks to SLAs, modifications to the existing workflow etc.
Customizing Reports, Changing views and analytics report, To debug performance issues and assist with maintaining the health of the tool.

Skills

-- At least 5 years of ITSM (ServiceNow) development experience (preferable ServiceNow platform), ITIL exposure a must (Tool or business process).
-- Exhibits prior and current technical expertise in web technology and the ability to learn new technology.
-- Understanding of and experience consulting to enterprise IT architecture -Background in ITIL, Service Management, Asset Management, IT Management -Excellent attention to detail with a focus on continuous service-improvement -Strong analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities
-- Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills -Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
-- Web services, APIs
-- VB, VB.NET, ASP.NET, VB Script etc.

Other Skills

-- Report Development, SQL queries, Databases, Knowledge Management, Integration with Middleware

Qualifications

-- Minimum 5years experience in a position as a ITSM developer using the Helpdesk, Service Level Management, Asset Management, and Change ITSM 7.x Management modules
-- ITIL Foundation certified
-- Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills
-- Strong analytic skills
