Services Sales Manager recruitment
Our client has established an independent PL and devised a strategy, that would allow them to increase effectiveness of their delivery teams, turn around distressed projects and deliver a profit by the end of 2011. Client partners include key services players, including global consulting houses, have established a strong network of partners, who invest thereby resulting in increased delivery capabilities through the partner programme. While being a key member of our clients Global Services Sales team, you would be responsible for:
- Achieving sales targets established by the Global Head of Services Sales, and implement sales strategies as member of global sales team
- Implementing strategy to engage a value based and consultancy led sales process, that will increase the services to license ratio by 30%
- Providing leadership in client relations regarding implementation projects and sales of consultancy services
- Providing strong leadership to the sales team to maximise performance in terms of revenues, growth targets and profits, delivered against company performance targets
- Demonstrating exemplary individual sales performance involving direct involvement in high profile sales pitches
To be considered for the role, you would:
- Be a consummate sales professional with the intellectual ability to engage with clients’ business and develop and improve the company's sales processes
- Have atleast 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services IT Services industry, with a mature understanding of the banking industry framework
- Come from a blue-chip background in a global technology services company familiar with complex, multi-level, consultative and value based selling combined with the ability to operate in an entrepreneurial high-growth culture
- Be a self-starter, who is able to operate successfully in this dynamic and fast-moving corporate environment without the support of an extensive bureaucratic support system
- Have a successful track record of generating revenue through selling large scale transformation programmes of work around software products into the banking services sector
- Have capabilities of supporting a multi-level sales strategy by working as a part of the team and driving the process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence and resilience to interact with the international leadership team
- Have an experience in environments, where the sales process involves multiple tiers of complex organisations with long and consultative sales cycles
