Settlement Analyst – OTC , Emissions LNG Business
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the daily management of OTC and cleared trading activities.
- To accurately and efficiently reconcile against all core controls for all relevant deliveries.
- To arrange OTC payments includes pricing confirmation with counterparties and Invoicing
- To handle collateral arrangement or margin call payment/credit settlement with clearing brokers and 3rd parties
- To pay the broker commissions and fees.
- To settle physical Emissions and LNG trades by processing payments to suppliers or billing customers for receipts
- To book business in the accounting system
- To ensure incoming outgoing funds receipt or payment shall value on time, if any delay in payment, interest shall be applied as per contract , AR ageing follow-up
- Prompt resolution and follow up of any discrepancies on a daily basis keeping relevant stakeholders informed.
- To maintain accurate and updated information
- To provide weekly funds statement to Treasury Department
- To carry out with the procedure/process for the implementation of ICTS or other network system
- To support accounting dept and performance analyst
- Similar oil energy industry experiences preferred
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Qualifications - Degree in Finance/Banking/Commercial/Maritime Studies or equivalent
- Professional Background - Finance, Accounts or equivalent
Working Experience
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience
Other Requirements
- Relevant settlement experience and knowledge
- Possess strong analytical skills.
- Self starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
- Any previous analytical experience gained within a trading environment may be particularly advantageous.
- Excellent team working and networking skills
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Energetic, enthusiastic, positive and proactive
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and trading accounting system
