Settlements Specialist – Leading Private Investor recruitment

This role is a Settlement Specialist for their Fund Settlement Group.  This role requires a hands-on individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a timely manner. 

There are 3 primary areas of responsibility:

Closing broadly syndicated loans (Primarily via ClearPar)

• Loan trade settlement, generally across several funds;

• Coordinating between trustees, Operations and Treasury;

• Coordinate execution of trade documents

Closing non-Company agented transactions and Transferring of Assets

• Coordinate the closing between Deal Teams, trustees, Operations and Treasury

• Coordinate execution of trade documents and required approvals

• Facilitate closing with Agent

KYC (Know Your Customer)

• Understand corporate structure

• Coordinate requests for tax forms and incorporation documentation

• Update organizational charts, as needed

• Other duties and projects, as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of related experience

• Experience with ClearPar and LSTA trade documentation required


Additional Skills:

• Understanding of legal documentation, specifically credit agreements

• Experience with credit analysis a plus

• Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel.

• The successful candidate with also have excellent planning, organization, implementation and follow-up skills.  In addition to being highly efficient and organized with a heightened attention to detail.  High energy and self-motivation also required. 

• Role requires the ability to work to meet tight deadlines, using own initiative and without close supervision. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
