They are currently recruiting in the Bournemouth area and looking for passionate, career minded professionals with excellent communication skills and keen to work in fast paced environment.
The Security Settlements team sits within the Investment Bank Security Operations (IBSO) group. This group is one of the several groups functioning within Investment Bank Operations in Bournemouth.
The team is responsible for monitoring all EMEA trade settlement across over 30 markets supporting the business globally.
Department Main Duties:
To provide support and information regarding trade queries to the Middle Offices and their trading personnel.
To liaise with Custodians and external clients as primary contact to resolve settlement issues.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-matching equity trades
Settlement of equity trades (including Priority client focus)
Escalation and resolution of failing trades
SBL intra day activity
Instruction of bond conversions - both physical and ADRs
Validation of interest claims
Transaction rejects screens
Daily reporting
Resolution of Cash and Stock breaks working closely
Key Skills Required
Analytical Skills, good time management
Attention to detail
Keen Learner
Proactive team player
Financial services experience and an interest in securities and investments
Securities Knowledge, preferably settlements experience
Good communication skills
Ability to work under pressure due to cut-off times and volumes
Initiative to deal effectively with unfamiliar situations
