SFG, Client Onboarding, New Accounts recruitment
Day to Day Responsibilities Include:
Contribute to high-quality client on-boarding processes from a documentation standpoint, across all asset classes:
- Analyze and determine account documentation required based upon counterparty type and products traded. As required, liaise with the sales persons and/or the clients to ensure proper dissemination of information and adequate understanding of the requirements
- In conjunction with the business lines (i) confirm account prioritizations, (ii) coordinate with the various support functions –through formal committees but more importantly on a permanent basis– (including AML, Credit/Risk, Legal, Esolutions, Treasury, Client Services and Business Data) and (iii) provide continuous feedback on status of accounts
- Provide client profitability to credit risk team for LIRA submissions
- Approve adequacy of account documentation and financial information received from prospective customers and ensure regulatory requirements and classifications are adhered to for account opening and maintenance (MiFID, authorized signatures, etc.)
- Create and maintain customer information and documents in various databases/systems and files including but not limited to SFG on-boarding tools and Newedge client referential.
Qualifications Include:
- Knowledge of brokerage industry
- Knowledge of in-house on-boarding related tools (NCR, DMD, etc.)
- Proficient in common desktop applications (Excel, Access, Word, Visio, etc.)
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Experience with new accounts and on-boarding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and facilitate solutions;
- Client orientation and service
- Proven organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Demonstrated ability to follow through
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience; Series 7 and 3 desired
