Macquarie Securities Group (MSG) is a global institutional securities house with strong Asia-Pacific foundations covering sales, research, ECM, execution and derivatives and delta one activities. The group uses its research and risk management skills to develop equity-based solutions and services for clients internationally.
We are now seeking an Executive to join our Corporate Access team in Shanghai. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the team responsible for establishing relationships with China corporates, securing non-deal roadshows and conference participation from the corporates, creating marketing materials, and arranging in country site tours and roadshows for our institutional investor clients.
Responsibilities will include:
- establishing relationships and maintaining regular contact with investor relations and senior management of China corporates;
- lead-managing multiple investor roadshows into China, arranging corporate meetings and related logistics;
- creating and presenting marketing documentation for corporate access programs hosted and arranged by Macquarie;
- working closely with research teams, equity sales teams and other divisions of Macquarie to design and execute savvy, well planned conferences and other events (social and corporate);
- on-site event management, including travelling to other cities to attend conferences and other events when required;
- liaising with offshore event roadshow coordinators on conference logistics arrangements, planning branding;
- acting as an in country host for investor roadshows into China when required.
Successful candidates will have:
- fluency in Mandarin and English;
- strong analytical skills and a focus on detail to produce high quality output and relevant commentary to a varied audience;

- good judgment and the ability to think and problem solve independently;
- the ability to communicate in a clear, concise and accurate manner and interact with people at various levels, both internally and externally;

- superior skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word;
