SHANGHAI – Global Risk Consulting Firm, requires Forensic Investigator/Accountant recruitment
This role will be focusing on Financial Investigations/Accounting in Shanghai. This will be a new build opportunity to drive and run the business in China.The Investigations team will focus heavily on projects related to forensic accounting, fraud, regulatory breaches, and bribery and corruption for government entities, MNC's and private companies.
Responsibilities
Be an integral part of building a successful fraud investigation practice whilst executing on a range of financial investigation cases across the region.
To effectively manage each step of the case cycle and managing all aspects of case finances, to ensure that quality service is delivered within the deadline and simultaneously managing multi-jurisdictional assignments.
Effectively manage a fraud and financial accounting investigation team, ensuring best practice is followed at all times, and acting as mentor to junior members and need to be a hands-on problem solver.
Be a subject matter expert of Financial Investigations when developing business pitches to new and existing clients.
Achieve personal targets and effectively work as a team to contribute towards achieving the Senior Director / Associate Director, Financial Investigations Greater China, Shanghai.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills
Requirements
8+ years financial investigations / forensic accounting experience
Internationally-recognized accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, etc)
Regulatory background and CFE qualification desirable but not essential
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and proficiency in both spoken and written Mandarin is essential.
Strong team ethic and excellent people skills
Microsoft office skills
