Shared Service Centre Controller

A respected and growing financial services organisation based in Worthing are seeking a Shared Service Centre Controller to lead their soon to be established finance shared service centre. The job is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to establish and lead a high performing team.

The job will manage a team of more than 20 financial staff that includes Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Cash Management. It will be a strategic position that will require the post holder to not only set up the centre, but provide long term support and governance to the unit.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a senior position within the company that will be very high profile. The post holder will need to challenge and motivate the team, and their expertise will be invaluable to non-finance stakeholders throughout the organisation.

The successful candidate will have experience of setting up and managing a shared service centre, and will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CGMA). They will be personable and driven, and will be a true finance leader. They will also be able to see the bigger picture outside of finance, and will act as a true business partner to the wider organisation.
