Shareholder Services Associate – Transfer Agency, German Speaker recruitment

A top tier Asset Manager is looking to hire a (London-based) Associate in charge of providing Shareholder Services support to the team’s Institutional and Distributors client-base; and coordinating a number of account activities with the team’s internal and external key stakeholders. Working within a dedicated team, and in close cooperation with their global Shareholder Services teams, the Associate provides a strong contribution to their Shareholder Services’ first-class servicing model, and ensures client satisfaction in a controlled and efficient environment.

This new role will allow their Shareholder Services London to respond more efficiently to business needs of their Institutional client-base; and position the team as a prime business partner for their Account Management community.

Key responsibilities: 

v Provide account servicing support to their Institutional Investors and Distributors (account opening; assistance in trading; queries and follow-up), and resolve queries on their behalf

v Provide shareholder services assistance to internal clients (Account managers; Legal Compliance; Fund accounting Custody; Product development)

v Coordinate query activity with external vendors

v Setup/maintain and monitor new/existing client accounts

v Coordinate new product launches

v Daily/monthly report production

v Participate in project implementation

v Ongoing review of internal procedures

Requirements

v Transfer Agency experience to include:

oClient Servicing

oShareholder account registration (AML, KYC)

oShareholder transactions monitoring

•  Subscriptions

•  Redemptions

•  Transfers

•  Switches

•  In-kind transfers

•  Transactions adjustments / corrections

oOperational oversight (cash management, trade correction, shareholder mailing etc.)

v Strong client relationship skills

v Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills

v Attention to detail and constant focus on quality and client service

v Dynamic, flexible, and enjoy working in a team

v Ability to think quickly and resolve problems in a fast-paced international environment

v Ability to multi-task and deliver under tight deadlines

v Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficiency in designing and executing database queries is a plus

Qualifications

v University degree or equivalent

v Experience in Financial Services; Fund Operations and/or with an Asset Management client service team

v Fluency in German is essential
