This candidate must have excellent technical and administrator skills to serve as an Enterprise SharePoint Administrator with a blend of technical and functional skills with various Sharepoint products. The mission is to establish and support development, test, and production environments using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and 2010, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, and Workflow Designer application development tools. This is a CONTRACT POSITION LASTING 3-4 MONTHS.
Typical tasks performed in this role include specific problem isolation and correction, conducting application design and technical reviews, performance tuning, application stability consulting/troubleshooting, code reviews, porting/migration assistance, configuration/administration management, pre-rollout testing and general development consulting.
Required:
- 3+ years' experience with large-scale Sharepoint (Sharepoint 2010 / MOSS 2007/ WSS 3.0) deployment and operations (e.g. admin, SSO, deployment techniques, Shared Services, Backup/Restore, Site usage/Analysis)
- 3-5 years' of experience with SharePoint server farms, database, and site collection configuration, design, deployment, and administration.
- 3+ years' experience administering user security in the SharePoint environment including the use of SharePoint and Active Directory groups.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in migration Projects Version upgrades of sharepoint. Experience with MOSS 2007 to Sharepoint 2010 migration will be a huge plus.
- Integration of SharePoint with other Microsoft and related platforms or services.
- Out-of-the-box configuration and deployment of SharePoint custom lists, document types and folders, workflow, InfoPath Forms, views, etc.
- Microsoft Office integration with SharePoint.
- Microsoft .NET framework, including ASP.NET, C#.NET, and VB.NET
- Web services, and XML
- Basic SQL 2005/2008 administration skills along with working knowledge with Sharepoint Databases and ability to perform key administrative activities.
- Expertise in Sharepoint Backup, Recovery,
- Medium to advanced administrative skills with IIS6.0/7.0.
- Experience with Power shell and window scripting.
- Strong experience with the .NET Framework tools and the Web development environment.
- Experience in designing, customization and development of existing and new forms and ability to integrate with native Sharepoint workflows and 3rd party tools.
- Strong administrative skills in Windows Server 2003/2008 administration.
- Overall candidate should possess 70% of MOSS Administration 30% Design / Development skills
