SharePoint Analyst

Our client is currently seeking a SharePoint Analyst. The candidate will conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues defects and create project documentation. Candidate will also gather requirements and interview clients/customers for the purpose of re-structuring SharePoint sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements and interview clients/customers for the purpose of re-structuring SharePoint sites
  • Planning, layout and design for SharePoint sites.
  • Create technical design specifications from user requirements
  • Develop custom SharePoint features as needed
  • Conduct system testing
  • Troubleshoot issues defects
  • Create project documentation
  • Create graphics, wireframes and content layouts
  • Present wireframes to clients and give site demos
  • Project management/business analysis
  • SharePoint or web application support and training
  • Work in conjunction with other members of the Web Technology team to deliver web based solutions in accordance with EP Enterprise Architecture using defined tools, practices, principles and procedures
  • Work with the Web Technology Manager to identify emerging technologies that will benefit the EP organization
  • Develop, maintain and promote viable, sustainable web-services architecture for the EP business
  • Web based development (Applications, Static Sites and Web Services)
  • SharePoint development and administration
  • Visual Studio development architectures
  • Compliance with developing Enterprise Architecture
  • Give presentations, demonstrations and training sessions as needed
  • Work directly with business users to determine the requirements around the best solution and reasonably accurate time estimate for projects New initiatives

    Requirements:

  • Must have SharePoint 2007/2010 experience (power-user level or above (2-3 years of experience)
  • Experience using SharePoint out-of-the-box and third party web parts
  • HTML, JavaScript, SharePoint 2010
  • Layout/design experience
  • Creating and manipulating graphical elements on web pages using Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks or another graphics tool
  • Must be client-facing (business analysis experience required)
  • Experience presenting in front of clients (wireframes, site demos, PowerPoint presentations, etc)
  • Basic IIS configuration and SharePoint administrative skills
  • Development skills (ASP.NET)
  • VB.NET C#.NET
  • Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010
  • Visual Source Safe/TFS
  • Basic IIS configuration and SharePoint administrative skills
  • Creating and manipulating graphical elements on web pages using Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks or another graphics tool desired
  • Bachelor's Degree
