Job Description:
Our client is looking for an ASP.NET developer with proven experience in ASP.NET and Sharepoint to take an active role within a small but busy development team. The successful candidate will be an excellent team player, with some ability to self-manage. The successful candidate will be involved in both maintaining existing ASP.NET and Sharepoint web applications and developing new client projects in the form of bespoke ASP.NET applications and SharePoint customisation projects.
There is the opportunity for the right candidate to progress both their technical skills, by way of Microsoft Certifications, and their professional skills, by way of involvement in requirements gathering and project planning exercises, but these skills are not mandatory.
Essential Core Skills:
C#.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, Sharepoint 2007 or 2010, Javascript, CSS, TSQL (or generic SQL)
Desired Core Skills:
VB.NET, ASP, JQuery, XML, JSON.
Additional Skills that would be of interest to us (in no particular order):
Linux Administration, PHP, WCF, SQL Server administration, IIS administration, Business Intelligence development, Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Experience:
Our client is willing to look at a graduate with no commercial experience if they have some part time or project work that demonstrates their abilities, however our client would prefer someone who has 1 to 2 years commercial experience either post-graduation or as part of a sandwich degree placement.
