Specific development skills must include: The ability to create custom lists Create custom workflows Integrate SharePoint content with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Design skills should include the ability to customize site themes and to control standardization of all sites contained within the root site. The prospective candidate must have experience in managing users, groups, and security. Further, the candidate must have the skills to administer farms and sites, including the ability to install all required SharePoint 2010 components if the need arises. CITF SharePoint: A Microsoft SharePoint Developer will enable CITF (Criminal Investigation Task Force) to streamline management of ongoing Intelligence work by enabling supervisors to assign CITF team members to specific intelligence tasks. These specific tasks are carried out within the CSC developed application including: Office of Military Commissions (OMC) Global, and Ground lines of Communications (GLOC) Further, the status of all tasks will be made available to applicable personnel in the form of reports that allow CITF to assess current workload and time-to-delivery and adjust assignments based on available personnel and priority of specific tasks. This Microsoft SharePoint implementation will provide a way for research done in the CSC developed applications to be shared and collaborated on, effectively allowing CITF to more fully perform their mission. The SharePoint site, through email notifications and custom workflows, will aide CITF in conforming to all laws and policies regarding information contained in CSC developed applications. Essential Job Functions: Performs complex SharePoint 2010 design, system analysis and programming activities on application software to ensure that company technology needs are met. Performs complex product design, system analysis and programming activities on application software to ensure that company technology needs are met. Performs design, implementation and maintenance of complex multiple product modules/subsystems or on lower level issues of multiple products to ensure proper functioning of products. Participates in product design meeting to ensure that design concepts are transferred into application development successfully. Performs complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products; researches problems discovered by quality analysts or product support to ensure that appropriate solutions are developed. Evaluates programs written by lower level staff to ensure adherence to company and client specifications. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software to ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner. Assists in resolving customer concerns and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements to ensure customer satisfaction with product. Assists in evaluating technical documentation of product sub-systems for accuracy and ease of use. Researches and understands marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria, competitive issues and new technology and development tools to ensure that product meets market demands appropriately. May provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. Acts as the subject matter expert for multiple portfolios of moderate complexityand serves as the system architecture authority within that scope. Defines complex technology-based business solutions within scope of project. Mentors and leads project teams in the appropriate use of technology. Identifies and evaluates technical architecture models utilizing knowledge of industry and technical trends. Reviews and approves design decisions prior to implementation to ensure adherence to prescribed guidelines. Advises client company management regarding IT vision and strategy, technology innovations and enterprise architecture services. Provides production problem diagnosis and technical, offshore strategy and processes support to project team. Implements resolution. Leads system design activities or reviews system designs to assure that applications solutions will exhibit expected levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment. Leads technology and product general assessments, detailed evaluations, and final selections. Leads system performance diagnosis and scalability assessment activities. Prepares IT vision and strategy work products, technology and product analysis, white papers, and responses to management queries on technology and product related topics. Participates in system solution definition for proposal efforts, as needed, to ensure business requirements are satisfied. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technologies, or related field preferred Nine or more years of information technology or technical architecture/design experience Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware and software Experience working with company developed technology (the Company's Catalyst and/or equivalent or vendor-mandated methodology) Experience working with industry specific technologies Other Qualifications: Strong communication skills Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with the most senior levels of internal staff, management and clients Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong leadership skills Good project management skills Ability to lead and work in a team environment Ability to set technical direction for multiple application portfolios Remote Work Authorized: No Relocation Assistence: Not Available Clearance Level: TS/SCI
