SharePoint Software Developer - MOSS 2007
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support the corporate SharePoint Portal.
• SharePoint development for the organization's expanding SharePoint presence using MOSS 2007, and SharePoint Designer - set-up and maintain SharePoint Pages and controls
• Maintain existing Web sites and SharePoint portal applications enhancing functionality to meet business and security requirements
• Troubleshoot complex code designs written by multiple developers and reverse engineer; identify incompatibilities and provide alternatives for improved design and performance
• Work with end users to develop comprehensive business requirement specifications and application design specifications
• Create technical documentation as a resource for future development and troubleshooting
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new tools and applications for use in assigned responsibilities
• Handle SharePoint Portal Helpdesk Functions, administer accounts and lockouts, and monitor for performance and reliability
Required skills:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field, or equivalent work experience
• 6 to 8 years of IT work experience in software development
• Proven Development of SharePoint (MOSS 07) and SharePoint Designer
• SharePoint skills

• Experience with Object-Oriented technologies and Microsoft Web technologies (.NET Framework 2.0-3.5, Visual Studio Team System, ASP.NET, and C# / VB), AJAX, and database technologies (SQL Server)
• Experience with jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, XML, and CSS
• SQL Server Database Administration
• DB Disaster Recovery Planning
• Demonstrated skill and ability to write SQL
• MS Office Suite Automation
Nice to have skills:
• IIS 7.0 administration and security
• Windows Server 2008 administration and security
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of software development (Agile) methodologies and processes
