SharePoint C ASP Net Developer - 1541

Job Responsibilities
- Primary SharePoint developer responsible for supporting and enhancing the SourceGas corporate SP 2010 intranet site. Analyze requirements and research to determine if the best solution is standard SharePoint functionality, a third-party product, or custom development.
- Identify and document business requirements, create technical design documents, develop and test solutions, troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Develop, support and enhance other applications, programs, and interfaces.
- Mentor and cross-train with team members.
- Write effectively and understand written communications, including but not limited to email.
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, other departments and management.
- Regularly use spreadsheets, database and word processing software, and periodically learn new programs.
- Deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism.
- Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and listen carefully.
- Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance.
- Other daily, weekly and monthly duties as assigned.
- May be required to work non-traditional hours as needed.
- Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.
- May be required to carry a company - provided cell phone/pager and be available to respond during working hours; may be required to respond during non-working hours, especially related to company emergencies.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
Job Requirements
- The successful candidate will have demonstrated success developing C# ASP.Net applications and custom SharePoint solutions.
- Proficient in C#, ASP.Net, XML, XSLT, Web Services, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, SQL Server, Visual Studio, IIS.
- 3 or more years work experience specific to SharePoint development including MOSS 2007 and/or SharePoint 2010.
- Comprehensive SharePoint knowledge including SharePoint API, Custom Web Parts, InfoPath Forms, Excel Services, Access Services, SharePoint Designer, Data View Web Parts, Content Query Web Parts, Content Editor Web Parts, KPI, Dashboards, Search, Business Connectivity Services, Web Services, Master Pages, Event Receivers/Handlers, Features, Solution Packages ACSX Controls.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues/problems.
- Must be able to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines, organize work effectively, reprioritize as new demands arise, and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access, Excel expertise is desirable.
- Ability to work with a team, take general directions from several sources, focus attention on details and complete projects.
- Ability to organize, schedule and prioritize departmental and individual work to meet various schedules and objectives.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to successfully perform the required and expected duties with minimal direct supervision.
- Must be able to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job.
Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge
- BI integration and dashboards in SharePoint.
- Visual Basic, PHP, SAP, Flash, Silverlight, Cold Fusion.
- Document and records retention experience.
- Natural gas utility experience preferred but not necessary.
