SharePoint Administrators/Specialists (Perm)
Our client is currently seeking experienced SharePoint Administrators. The primary role of this position will be to provide SharePoint expertise in the administration, maintenance and support of the SharePoint environment.
The position will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly server health checks and performance monitoring; Provide 3rd 4th level problem diagnosis and resolution, troubleshoot server outages and performs in-depth root cause analysis.
The ideal candidate will have a complete understanding of SharePoint 2007 and 2010 architecture, performance monitoring, backup/restore, governance, security, and managing a SharePoint environment.

The candidates will be working on staggered shift hours covering from 7am to 11pm (7am-4pm / 2-11pm.)
Requirements:
- Expert level competency in Microsoft SharePoint 2003 – 2010; development experience is an advantage
- SQL Server 2005/2008, MOSS (SharePoint 2007) administration development, familiarity with SQL clustered operations for SharePoint.
- Communication Services and MS Exchange experience.
- Security understanding of SharePoint, IIS, Windows, Certificates, SSL, and Active Directory ACL group concepts.
- Substantial experience of engineering, managing, and supporting infrastructure in a large messaging and collaboration environment.
- Infrastructure knowledge of Windows Server 2003, 2008 (64 bit), Performance, and Capacity measures, specifically with respect to IIS, SQL, and SharePoint.
- Scripting knowledge of PowerShell, VBScript, crafting and maintaining automation scripts.
- Knowledge of Lotus Domino platform including Notrix and LEI.
- Competency in .NET Framework, ASP.NET, XML, IIS, Security models for IIS, and MSMQ familiarity.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service skills, strong interpersonal skills, and team skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline required
- MCSE, CLP, MCTS or MCAP Certification relating to SharePoint Server desirable
