The Company
Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer based in Merseyside who have a keen emphasis on developing and progressing hard working employees.
The Role
The role of Shift Manager reports directly into the Manufacturing Manager, the shifts are 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm and 10pm - 6am. You will oversee the running of a fast paced manufacturing operation. The objective is to develop a team in lean manufacturing with a keen emphasis on OTIF delivery at the right cost and quality.
Additionally, the role will require projects work aimed at improving the floors manufacturing performance.
The Person
You must have relevant experience as a Shift Manager, preferably in a fast moving environment.
It is critical that the candidate is able to push the business forward using lean manufacturing approaches, whilst focusing on the improvement of factory operatives and processes.
It is essential that you have previously managed a team in manufacturing and you can clearly demonstrate improvement skills. You must be effective in your approach to team building and have good management skills.
The Salary
£35,000 - £40,000 plus Benefits
