Responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor include driving and developing a safety environment on all aspects of production. Successful candidate will manage the day to day shift operation of the manufacturing process with emphasis on quality, productivity, accuracy, and improvements to meet or exceed daily machine output target goals. The Shift Supervisor will also direct supervision and training of hourly production employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, coaching and assisting machine operators on machine setup and operation, addressing complaints and resolving problems to include assisting in machine repairs as needed to keep production flowing. The Shift Supervisor will coach and lead production personnel to improve asset availability and uptime.
Basic Qualifications:
Available to work different shifts.
Minimum of 2-5 years previous manufacturing supervisor experience.
Available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Experience:
Experience in the setup and operation of manufacaturing machinery including manual and CNC lathes, shear, wheelabrator, drills, forging press, roto flo/hobb, and heat treat machines.
Experience with precision measuring equipment.
Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and ISO 9001.
Knowledge:

Lead a team of people to deliver superior results.
Basic computer skills including MS office and production software.
