The candidate will effectively manage staff during assigned shift to maintain adequate security coverage. Typical duties include:*Directly supervise security staff and inmates/residents*Monitor safety protocols*Schedule adequate staffing*Participate in recruiting, hiring, and orienting new staffThe right candidate will have:*High school diploma / GED equivalent*1-2 years directly related experience*Supervisory experience preferred*Familiarity with community corrections systems and their current practices*Successful completion of criminal background check, driver's license check, and drug screening
