Shipping Receiving Lead
Excellent companies located in North and Northwest Houston seeking an experienced Shipping Receiving candidate for their busy warehouse. Starting pay for this position is DOE. The ideal candidate needs to be a cut above with a strong, diligent work ethic. This position is NOT for general warehouse work or forklift operation. Applicants MUST meet all requirements to be considered, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Handle incoming shipments in an organized fashion
· Direct loading and unloading of trucks
· Maintain proper inventory count
· Responsible for checking in material received
· Conduct final inspections and determine accuracy of outgoing shipments
· Schedule all incoming and outgoing freight
· Maintain and organized and neat warehouse
· Experience with forklift operation and overhead crane a plus
Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Shipping Receiving/Material management
Must have strong communication and people skills
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Must have strong computer skills – SAP, AS400 or similar software a plus
Must have knowledge and experience with all types of shipping software
Must be able to handle a structured work environment
Must be self-motivated and have a can do attitude
Minimal to NO criminal history, NO FELONIES
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass drug screen
