Shipping Receiving Warehouse Supervisor (1452)
Location: Lewisburg, Tn 37091
Description
- Ensure 100% on-time and accurate delivery to customers daily.
- Notify customers on any misshipments and run out times.
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of both shipping and receiving and management of staff on assigned shift.
- Supervise training, safety, performance reviews, corrective actions, etc. of assigned staff.
- Notify other departments on any RDRS or hot parts we don’t have and give them the required ship times.
- Communicates frequently with internal and external contacts on various issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
*****This position is split between 2nd and 3rd shift*****
Under general supervision, manage all functions of the shipping and receiving warehouse.
Required Skills
Intermediate to advanced experience (beyond basic data entry) working with computer applications such as Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint, and other presentation applications and/or software.
Must have a tow motor driving certificate.
Required Experience
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline and zero (0) – two (2) years experience in related field
- Certification or license may be required in some areas.
- Have experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications.
- Have strong communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs.
- Be able to pass all background checks and pre-employment tests, including any required drug test.
- Be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters.
