Shipping & Trade Operations
An established soft commodities house is seeking an experienced individual to join their sugar trade operations team in London. A successful candidate would have experience operating ITAS systems, and experience in a trade support and-or shipping logistics role.
Experience with ITAS and exposure to sugar markets is a must, and a successful candidate would ideally be fluent in Portuguese.
Responsibilities for Shipping Trade Operations - Sugar Desk, London (Sugar, Soft Commodities, London, Shipping, Operations, ITAS, Portuguese Speaking) role:
• Close liaison with sugar team in Brazil
• Providing support to finance and control teams
• Ensuring all movements are accounted for on ITAS systems
• Covering spectrum of shipping logistics operations
Skills - Attributes required for Shipping Trade Operations - Sugar Desk, London (Sugar, Soft Commodities, London, Shipping, Operations, ITAS, Portuguese Speaking) role:
• At least 3-5 years in a similar role, ITAS experience is essential
• Speak English and Portuguese
• Exposure to physical sugar markets
• Be willing to be based in London
