Shipping/Receiving Associate, Carry-In

Job Purpose: To assist in the shipping and receiving of customer s product in the Carry-In Repair Center. Provide professional, timely, accurate and courteous customer service to both our internal and external customers Job Responsibilities: Work as a dedicated team member to ensure fast, flexible and expert service to every customer Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate customer centric solutions Provide knowledgeable and courteous service Assist in unloading deliver trucks Accurately counts and records receipts for customer merchandise Create service orders for Access Points without NPS capability. Recreate service orders according to ISO process Successfully complete all Shipping/Receiving associate training elements within required timeframes Understand and support customer cycle times by ensuring customer merchandise shipped and received per transportation schedules (UPS, Shuttle Service, etc) Prepare product for shipping. Provide careful packing to avoid damage during shipping Manage the shipping and receiving process for outgoing merchandise Maintain cleanliness and organization of Shipping/Receiving areas Effectively manage and demonstrate appropriate time management skills Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and other ISO based procedural documents Adhere to all company policies and procedures Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements Specific Essential Functions: Ability to read, write, speak English Ability to work productively and effectively when faced with stressful situations Ability to accept responsibility for work assignments and job duties and to be held accountable for their successful completion Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to follow directions. Ability to apply appropriate safety procedures and equipment to protect company and customer assets Ability to apply appropriate use of personal protective equipment (i.e. back belt, safety glasses) Ability to work around gas and oil products within the EPA and OSHA guidelines Ability to work in non-air conditioned environment, where applicable Able to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work variable and flexible hours including overtime Ability to read and utilize reports as needed Ability to follow ISO 9001 process guidelines Experience/Education/Certification Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred Must be 18 years of age Must be able to pass the pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check Certification and/or licenses as required Experience and aptitude with computers and databases preferred Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred Required Job Competencies: Open to change and the ability to effectively implement change quickly Work well with others in a team setting to deliver high performance results Accept responsibility for work assignments and job duties and to be held accountable for their successful completion Effective time management skills Detail oriented and organizational skills Proficient math skills Initiative and sense of urgency Convey a positive image of the company in all actions and behaviors Value diversity
