JOB DESCRIPTION:
SHOES STORE MANAGER - Weatmeath/Tipperary - €30000 - €35,000
In partnership with its client CPL is currently seeking an experienced Fashion/Shoes Store Manager for a permanent role based in Westmeath and Tipperary.
The Client:
Our client is an international fashion brand, expert in design, development and delivery of contemporary, quality and comfortable shoes. We have approximately 550 outlets and are the UK and Ireland's largest operator of specialist shoe shops.
SELLING AND THE CUSTOMER
- Communicates and develops in others an enthusiastic and positive approach to customers and selling, making the store a great place to shop.
- Agrees and communicates challenging daily and weekly sales targets feeding back to teams on performance against targets.
- Uses the forecast sales and productivity targets to deliver the correct level of staffing in store to drive conversion rates.
- Role models and develops individuals to ensure the team are consistently using sales floor control and selling models to maximise sales.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Creates a lively, buzzing environment so that the store is a great place to work and shop.
- Communicates to all departments what needs to be done, and the common goal to be achieved
- Recruits the best people using the company materials and processes, and manages the induction process in-store to give a consistent welcome to all new team members.
- Conducts performance reviews for immediate reports, identifies training needs and supports personal development plans.
PROFIT/COMMERCIALITY
- Analyses the PL account and other store information to effectively manage controllable costs to minimise losses and deliver on KPIs.
- Ensures all security procedures are maintained to Company standards.
- Regularly reviews internal and external influences on the store which impact on sales and takes action to improve.
- Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of the retail fashion industry.
