Our client, an energy trading fund in Houston, is seeking an individual to join their trading team to focus on Short Term Power. A successful individual would ideally have experience trading with a leading trading house or financial institution.
Responsibilities of Short Term Power Trader, Houston, Salary: Highly Competitive, (Power, Energy, Day Ahead, PJM, North East, Trading, Trader, Financial, Houston, Texas, USA) role:
· Responsibility for short term PL function
· Key focus on PJM and North East US Power Markets
· Responsible for trading day ahead and short term
· Using and performing market analysis to implement appropriate trading strategies
· Speculative proprietary trading to maximize trading profits
Skills required for Short Term Power Trader, Houston, Salary: Highly Competitive, (Power, Energy, Day Ahead, PJM, North East, Trading, Trader, Financial, Houston, Texas, USA) role:
· Exposure to North East and US power markets
· At least 3-4 years experience in a short term power trading role.
· Be able to demonstrate a consistent track record and profitable returns
· Be willing to be based in Houston
