An exciting job opportunity exists with one of Australia‘s leading service providers to the mining industry for a Shutdown Maintenance Planner in the Bowen Basin.  An attractive salary package, worklife balance 5:3 5:2 day roster and real career growth potential are on offer with this role.

Your primary purpose is to create work packs and processes to develop and implement shutdown management systems to achieve best practice standards in the key area of safety management across quality control. Relevant experience in a shutdown planning role with equipment exposure to mineral processing equipment is a crucial requirement of this role.  As an effective planner you will have experience with CMMS systems and understand the shutdown process from end to end.
 
To be successful in this role you will have previous shutdown experience and good working knowledge of maintenance on industrial equipment. You will have general computer literacy and be competent with MS Excel. Exposure to P6 and Microsoft Project is advantageous. You will be responsible for the planning of all activities required for the plant shutdown to perform scheduled maintenance work.
