-- Signal Data Processing Engineer-01117317 Description Key Role: Work in a multi-disciplinary environment with similarly motivated electrical engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists who are collectively responsible for creating digital signal processing and imagery data processing frameworks in support of national security defense. Lead the development of signal and imagery data processing software framework and service and component standards and specifications for signal processing services and reusable software components. Work in a collaborative manner with industry and government partners to assess legacy systems and components to identify convergence opportunities and gaps and identify approaches to realize opportunities and fill gaps. Demonstrate knowledge of and experience with signal data processing across multiple software processing frameworks. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: -5 years of experience with Digital Signal Processing, including detection, demodulation, decoding, synchronization, and equalization -Experience with design principles, open-source technologies, and standards to promote portability, compatibility, and reuse -Experience in scientific programming with C, C, or a similar high-level language on UNIC or Linux -Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph -BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: -5 years of experience with practical system development and deployment -Experience with using open source tools and technologies to integrate software applications into a variety of existing customer platforms -Knowledge of common software, platform, and systems, including C, C, Java, Python, Eclipse RCP, or Linux -Knowledge of SOA architectures -Knowledge of software frameworks and standards, including Midas, X-Midas, NeXtMidas, Software Communications Architecture (SCA), and GNU Radio -BA or BS degree in Electrical Engineering, CS, Applied Mathematics, or a related field preferred; MA, MS or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field a plus Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
