FICC operates in most major trading markets and emerging markets around the world.
We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to provide support to our physical oil business in Asia.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for all operations related to our physical oil trading business.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Prepare deal contracts for all physical oil trades.
- Issue oil instructions to appoint quantity and quality surveyors.
- Vessel loading, sailing/discharge instructions.
- Tank or pipeline logistics instructions.
- Ensure all financial security is in place before title transfer.
- Stock reporting.
- Regular operational updates to the trading system to ensure all deals are accurately reported.
- Calculate/check invoices.
- Monitor and manage demurrage exposure.
- Manage all insurance and claims processes including quantity, quality and demurrage.
Key requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications.
- Minimum 10 years experience (Middle East crude oil background preferred).
- An experienced, self starter.
- Ability to complete tasks in an accurate / timely manner.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
