Salary up to £90,000 plus bonus and substantial benefits package
Our client produces high volume short shelf life food products at its site based in the south-east and they require an inspirational leader for this complex, multi SKU site who will be able to effectively lead and engage the site teams through an on-going change programme.
The site runs 24/7 in a highly pressurised timely delivery environment and ever present is the challenge of driving CI and OEE to meet the company's standards and site KPIs. One of the initial objectives will be to deliver significant productivity and quality improvements whilst formulating plans for the site's development and improvement.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a resilient and committed individual who will have experience of working in a short shelf life or chilled food arena and must have managed teams in a Unionised environment. An engineering background would be a distinct advantage and evidence of previous successful site manufacturing responsibility for a £multi-million branded and own-label business.
Qualified to Degree level or equivalent is essential in either an engineering or manufacturing discipline
The essential qualities to successfully fulfil this role will be apparent in an individual who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills; highly numerate and IT literate; an inspirational and robust leader, an influencer and persuader; a natural team player, results driven with a genuine passion for people development through engagement and empowerment.
