SBM is searching for a dynamic Site Manager to manage our facilities in the Hillsboro, Oregon area. The Site Manager coordinates and directs operations necessary to carry out contractual responsibilities of the company, including any and all necessary planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor and supplier contact, customer relations and other high level managerial or supervisor responsibilities.

 

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

 

·         Manages multiple service programs

·         Prepares and coordinates schedules for employees and service personnel.

·         Inspects and evaluates physical condition of establishment for program compliance, i.e. safety, quality, and service.

·         Reviews customer requests for service to ascertain cause for service request, type of malfunction, and address with manager.

·         Assists in the promotion of services performed to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in industry.

·         Assists with plans, budgets, and schedules modifications including cost estimates bid sheets and contracts. Monitors budget requests and goals.

·         Performs audits and inspections to evaluate inventory and the use of space and facilities.

·         Assists in the development of long-range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements for program/process improvements.

·         Coordinates program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents.

·         Compiles data for preparing estimates.

·         Maintains and reports on financial part of business, such as, labor hours, overhead, supplies, expenses, billing, forecasting and any changes to these areas.

·         Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (including FLSA, OSHA, ADA) and assists with human resource concerns and issues.

·         Directs supervisory management engaged in support of facilities programs.

·         Maintains contact with and facilitates communication with contractors, customers, clients and employees.

·         Some travel may be required for this position.

·         Preferred hours of availability are from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Ensures that Key Performance Indicators are met

·         Manages subordinate managers or supervisors who supervise employees performing facilities support services.

·         Responsible for the direction, coordination, and evaluation of each account.

·         Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

·         Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

·         Ensures employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

·         3-5 years of managerial experience

·         Previous facilities management or Critical Space experience

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

·         Bilingual (English/Spanish)

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to strict deadlines

·         Strong problem solving skills

·         Adept at using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

 

·         Annual salary range is $60,000 to $65,000 DOE

·         Attractive benefits package is included (medical, dental and vision)

·         Two weeks paid vacation
