Our Client Company based in Essex has an urgent need to recruit an experienced CSCS construction site manager to supervise a team of subcontractors on a short term 2-3 month contract. The role paying £200-£250 pounds per day depending on experience will be based on the Olympic site in Stratford. Suitable candidates will have experience in either a site manager of project manager capacity, and have invaluable knowledge in relation to all areas of HS and the monitoring costs.
The project itself involves the cladding of a large scale building on the Olympic site in Stratford.
Individuals who have experience of managing subcontractors as they carry out installations, especially in regards to cladding are warmly encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to have excellent communication and organisation skills and have a proven track record of completing and managing projects of this nature.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for all logistics of delivery, installation subcontractors, costing and HS issues.
1.Overseeing and managing Site Supervisor, Trade Operatives and Sub-Contractors.
2. To be competent in the understanding of the contract design and construction drawings. relay/discuss relevant information with the client, their agent or on-site personnel.
3. Managing specialist domestic and nominated Sub-Contractors.
4. Enforcing and monitoring health safety practices and CDM Regulations on site.
5. Attendance of regular site meetings with Client, Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Planning Supervisor etc.
6. Preparation of contactor's reports for site meetings.
7. Preparation of contract programmes progress reports.
8. Assisting in pricing and agreeing instructions with the Client or Client's Agent.
9. Assisting in formulating valuations and final accounts.
10. Assisting in monitoring and reports on job profitability.
11. To ensure that all specific materials ordered are received on or before their due delivery dates.
12. Attendance of regular report and update meetings with the Contract Manager.
13. To identify and implement improvements to any aspect of the service that we provide.
14. Deal with, record and investigate any complaints received with regards to any aspect of the service that we provide.
15. Ensure that acceptable levels of customer care are provided at all times.
16. Regular use of software packages such as Word, Excel and Project.
