We have recently secured the Diamantina Power Station in Mt Isa, QLD are looking for the below qualified positions to fill contract position for minimum 2 years.
Positions are based on site.
SITE REGISTERED NURSE
$100,000.00 Salary package.
Skilled Experienced Nurse required who can function independently as part of a team. Initiative, strong communication skills professional attitude coupled with sound understanding of project/site environment will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities;
- Providing first aid support for the project site
- Monitoring performance, preparing reports, training implementation of the Site Health Wellness Program
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies procedures
- The ability to conduct site safety Inductions (as when required)
- Knowledge of OHS legislation or possess qualification
Required:
- Local resident
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA;
- Advanced first aid life support skills;
- Manual C Class drivers licence;
- Recognised qualifications in emergency response
- At least 2 years’ experience on a construction site in safety/ emergency response/first aid officer or Industrial Paramedic/Advanced pre-hospital care qualification or equivalent;
- Police clearance essential;
- Excellent written oral communication skills;
- Senior First Aid
- Paramedic or equivalent training is recommended but not essential
- Swipe entry card system experience desirable but not essential (Gallagher system)
- Computer literacy
- Police Clearance essential
- Valid Construction Card (White card)
