Must be able to work in a professional environment and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees in supporting various site needs and requirements. Must have experience in office layout software and manage the existing and proposed office layouts. Will work with our IT department on implementing and managing a Facilities Help Desk call center. Will need to manage a budget and offer forecasting costs based on historical operating and future operating costs.
Job Requirements:
- Support the development and implantation of the Facilities Work Request System. Manage the service calls and directing support staff on priorities and completion of tasks. Act as the primary contact to customer and the closing of their requests.
- Project manage small architectural and facility related upgrades. Ability to work with layouts, contractors, architectural firms to offer inputs as to how site aesthetics can be improved for minimal cost.
- Establish an office layout for each building and the associated departments. Information will be used to track department personnel relocations and space availability.
- Maintain reports and trending for recycling/waste management, move allocations, space utilization and work order metrics.
- Work with HR and department managers on newly hired campus employees to ensure that they have space and their areas are set up properly.
- Manage janitorial contractors in daily service work, special requests, and maintaining floor care, waste removal and overall site appearance.
- Support furniture requests, office modifications, inventory and cost estimates. Work with vendor and customer on installation scheduling, cost and layout.
- Work with coffee and service vendors on equipment operation, budget and customer request and requirements.
- Manage office layouts and internal moves. Coordinate with IT, office managers and facilities department on requirements and schedule. Supply move boxes and labor to complete tasks.
- Manage contractors on interior/exterior painting, driveways, signage, and landscaping to ensure that the site is clean and safe.
- Must posses physical ability to lift 25lbs from ground, and regular walking between multiple buildings as job requirements demand

Education: High School graduate, 5+ years of working in a related field, program literate in Word, Excel, Visio and Power Point – experience with ACAD is recommended.
