Site Support Engineer Job in Perth 6000, Western Australia Australia

As a Site Support Engineer on the Central Processing Platform (CPF), you will provide technical support to the Operations Department for the offshore systems. You will also provide guidance and work closely with the Operations and Production Teams to maintain plant integrity and support achievement of production goals.

Key responsibilities include:
Ensure Safety, including both Process Safety and Occupational Health and Safety, is reinforced as the highest priority consideration in conducting plant operations
Assist in the formulation and upkeep of the integrated Maintenance and Integrity Maintenance program including the Maintenance Plans
Ensure familiarity with key risks associated with plant operation including HSE, Business and reputational related risks and ensure associated mitigating actions are identified and managed
Implementation of budgetary monitoring controls for management of the Integrity and Maintenance system
Analysis of inspection results de-rating, repair and/or replacement recommendation
Monthly asset Integrity report of health indicators of all static assets
Technical input for Field Change Proposals (FCP) with Technical Authorities

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant Science degree
Solid experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry - preferable on offshore facilities
Sound knowledge of production processes, procedures and practices
Knowledge of Maintenance and Integrity Assurance and Maintenance Discipline
Experienced in the use of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Risk Based Inspections (RBI), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) studies and the application of these to ensure best in class Maintenance and Integrity capability
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, SAP (approvals, reports), Appropriate operations Information Management Systems, mostly for reporting/monitoring
Prior to startup you will use your experience to provide technical and operational input during Detailed Design, Construction and Commissioning. In addition, you will be part of the development of key operations systems and processes. This may require you to be deployed to international design offices and construction yards or to assist operations readiness activities within the Perth office.
