Six Sigma Project Manager – GREEN BELT recruitment
Our client runs a six sigma methodology within their change management function, and are currently recruiting a project manager who is at Green Belt level. The ideal applicant will come from a strong business analysis, and project management background for several years. Direct six sigma training and accreditation to Green Belt level would be a prerequisite to apply to this position.
The range of projects would be varied, although generally focused on streamlining operational process while enhancing the client delivery of operational reporting in the operations environment.
Previous financial services experience is likely to be held in preference although this isn’t an absolute requirement. Any experience within asset management, investment banking or custody operations would be held in high regard.
Salary will vary depending on relevant experience, although for a Green Belt qualified project manager we expect the salary is likely to be $115-140k + super + bonus.

Project Manager- Green Belt
Description:
The Lean Six Sigma team is a function of change management to facilitate strategic operational aims of through the deployment of six sigma tools. We use Lean Six Sigma Green Belts to support the Six Sigma Black-Belt Lead in deploying a process improvement mindset across the business as well as to identify and execute on operational efficiencies in line with our strategic aims whilst minimizing operational risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the six sigma brand through the identification and successful Implementation of change according to six sigma methodology (Lean 6 sigma).
- Contribute to efficiency improvement projects with operational staff in line with six sigma method and objectives. Accountable for meeting project deadlines and budgets and reaching projects' expected results. Lead workshops with operational staff to solve problems / identify and resolve issues.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organization.
- Support and train operational managers to implement process performance management and continuous improvement across various levels of the organisation.
- Participate in the development and deployment of the programme as defined by the Black-Belt six sigma leader.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience as a certified Lean Six Sigma green belt. Preferably within the service sector, financial services a plus but not essential.
Technical Skills Required:
Lean Six Sigma 2 years, Fluent user of MS Office (ability to analyse data a plus), Minitab
Our client is seeking direct six sigma project and training experience at Green Belt level. Previous financial services project experience is highly desirable, although not a prerequisite.
