Team Operator- Todmorden -hourly rate+ leader allowance
My client is a European leader in design, manufacturing and supply of heavy Engineering Products. My Client is seeking an experienced skilled team operator to join their West Yorkshire based site and handle a variety of responsibilities in the Fettling department. My client is a progressive company with significant, sustained and continual growth over recent years in revenue and business.
Your role will involve a range of duties including;
• Programme, operate and develop Maus Fettling Machine
• Use of Siemens CNC control
• Use of Diana off-line programming
• Reviewing and modification of new or existing design
My client is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist (Grinding) with knowledge and experience of using ISO programming Language (preferably in a medium to heavy engineering environment).
A candidate with experience working with Casting and proficient use of Siemens control is very desirable.
A successful candidate must have a qualification in a recognised Apprenticeship with technical certificates, and programming skills. Candidates must also have clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with a hard working ethos and a keen interest in new and up to date manufacturing processes and technologies. Candidates must further be willing to adopt Lean manufacturing principles and be devoted to continuously improving Health and Safety culture.
