The role is based in the retail branch network, and is essentially a holistic banking solution provider that includes lending, deposit, transactional and insurance.You will generate new small business clients, foster business relationships and identify cross sell opportunities through developing a strong local referral network. Although you work autonomously, an essential element to your success is the ability to develop strong internal alliances within the branch network. You share product knowledge and coach colleagues to better identify potential new small business opportunities.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• Demonstrated sales background with some understanding of business lending and a focus on providing clients with exceptional service
• Experience in a banking and finance role is ideal, although exposure to other B2B sales and experience in running own business would also be highly regarded
• Similar work experience as personal banker or senior personal banker will be considered
• Desire to proactively source new business and market ANZ to the local small business client base
