This Accounting practice on the Brisbane CBD outskirts engages in a range of self managed super funds and clients with a large focus on Pension Funded entities. With the current growth in this market their clients are turning to them to provide excellent accounting services in a timely manner. As this firm is expanding rapidly a position has recently become available for a Manager that can assist with taking this practice to the next level of growth.
Reporting directly to the Partners and Directors, this role will encompass: controlling of WIP; adhering to budgets and deadline constraints; working on a portfolio of clients through developing relationships and identifying their needs whilst holding back on advisory services as this is not an area required by the firm or their clients. In regards to staff management, the Manager will oversee a highly competent and technical team, where they will coach and mentor their staff by providing on the job training on technical issues and methodologies and drive the productivity to meet set deadlines.
To be successful in obtaining an interview, you must be CPA/CA qualified with a degree in Accounting or a related field. A minimum of 3+ years within an accounting practice and solid SMSF experience will be highly regarded. In relation to management skills, you will have had significant team leadership experience, actively participating in the ongoing development of your team whilst managing your own portfolio of clients. You will be driven and have a desire to excel which will in turn assist in the continued development of this growing firm.
